Visual Trace Route Tool is a free Internet tool that allow you to trace the route a data packet takes from the time you issue the http request, until you get the results back to your browser. The cool part is that the result is presented in text, and visually on a google map. The process is animated so you can see the data travel in real time. Simply type a website URL and click "Host Trace" or "Proxy Trace" to start the route tracing.
